Tournament Rules

Gen Con will host the first ever World Championships!  Play in feeder events at  Origins and at Gen Con where you can win Byes for the championship event on Saturday Afternoon at Gen Con!

Official tournament rules:

Players will be seated randomly into tables of 3-4 players, based on the number of entries.

Players will be reseated for additional rounds by point totals, Highest score to lowest.  For example: if there were 5 players, at the end of round one, the scores were 23, 27, 35, 48, 63, then place the top three scoring players at one table, and the lowest scoring two players at the second table.

The player with the lowest score total at each table goes first at the beginning of each round. The player with the highest point total combined from all the games is the winner.

First tiebreaker: Lowest sum of place finish, from each round. For Example: 2nd place in round 1 = 2 points, 1st place in round 2 = 1 point. Tiebreaker total = 3 points.

Second tiebreaker: Did you have rainbow from above in final game? If yes, win.

Third tiebreaker: Most capped one-color spires? win

Fourth tiebreaker: Most capped rainbow spires? win
