Wizard World Comic Cons and Legion Events

I’m excited to announce a “new gig” for Legion events.  I have just entered into an agreement with Wizard Conventions (Wizard Magazine) to run Collectible Gaming at their shows around North America through 2010!  The first show is in Toronto the weekend of March 27th.

I’m slapping together a schedule of events right now, but it’s sure to include Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Poke’mon, and with any amount of luck, the new UDE Marvel TCG!  plus…. Bakugan!

I’m very happy about this opportunity to work on a national scale with folks who are as excited about bringing gaming to their cons as I am!

Check back for more details as they roll out!

MC2 Cruise attendance has marked over 100!

Including staff and VIPs, the MC2 cruise has now pushed over 100 attendees! this is quite an increase from last year!  Last year we were around 70 total with 42 players.    Here we sit at 103 currently (by my count) with over 60 players!   We haven’t even set sail yet and I already can’t wait for the next one!  we’re looking at the same time frame next year, (early February) and hoping to set sail out of the LA/San Diego Area. We should have details on MC3 by the end of February 2010.  All travel arrangements will be handled by the fine folks at All About Travel who were kind enough to come in and clean up some details for me when I got so busy I couldn’t stay on top of the cruise entries!

We’re under a month away from sailing and MAN I can’t wait! in case you missed it.. here’s Evan Erwin from the Magic show and his 2009 Game in the Gulf Cruise feature check it out!

See you on the Boat!
Steve

(there is still space available, although tickets costs are going up fast as the boat nears capacity!)

Wizards/DCI Ratings updates

Hi folks,

A few of you have asked me about your ratings and why you don’t see events you’ve played in, specifically States on Dec 5th, on your ratings.  I just spoke with the Database Goddess ™ who told me there was a change done to the system back around thanksgiving which apparently kept the personal pages from being updated.  They are working on that problem and you should see results within the next couple days.  All my events have been checked and have been uploaded, so hopefully once they get that bug fixed you’ll see your ratings!
